Private Events at Untold
We offer the ability to book private (full sell-out) and semi-private events at both of our South Shore taprooms. Before submitting an inquiry, please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our programs.
Locations and Capacities:
Scituate - we rent our schoolhouse and/or our taproom annex. Total capacity for each space is approx 40 ppl; a full-sell out private event includes our patio and lawn in addition to the interior spaces with total capacity up to 100. Please note that guests will be required to park off-site.
Plymouth - we rent our taproom lounge area for semi-private events up to 40 ppl, and our full taproom for events with up to 120 guests.
At Home - have the party come to you! With our vintage VW Bus serving as the backdrop, we can set up a mobile Untold beer bar at your private residence.
Please note that we do not have private event / dining rooms at either location
Timing & Black Out Dates:
Semi-private events can be booked during our operating hours.
Private events that require us to be closed to the public are booked at either the start or end of the day, enabling us to either open late or close early. Please note that we limit the number of private events we book each month to avoid disrupting our regular guests.
We do not book events on peak weekends and holidays and/or when we have previously scheduled public events such as live music.
In all cases, a two-hour minimum rental is required.
Pricing and Process:
Rental rates vary by party size and day of the week. For budgeting purposes our hourly rental rate averages $750 - $1200/hour.
A percentage room fee is required at the time of booking and contract signature.

Other FAQs:
Outside alcohol of any kind is NOT PERMITTED for private or semi-private events.
Outside food is permitted when an on-site food truck is not scheduled. During such times we kindly ask that your party support our food partner(s).
Light decorations are permitted, but must be taken down prior to the conclusion of your event.
Like your favorite restaurant we require a booking for parties of 10+
