Explore various sustainable farming practices including seed-saving, composting, seed-starting, companion planting, and mastering the art of growing your own salad and summer crops. Each session promises hands-on learning and valuable insights to combat climate change empower you in your journey towards sustainable living.
March 19 - Perennial and Hardy Herbs: Use your five senses to better know the many perennial and hardy herbs available to plant for culinary, medicinal, and other uses. You will learn about their soil needs, as well as how to plant and care for this wide variety of herbs.

Come explore soil at a macro- and microscopic level as we discuss how to evaluate, test, and amend your soil. April 16 - Native Plants and Co-Existing with Non-Native Plants: Why are native plants important to your garden and the surrounding ecosystems? Discover what native seedlings are available to transplant and attract native pollinators to diversify your garden. And how can you better co-exist with the non-native plants? As proponents of regenerative agriculture, we will guide you through the science behind recent climate projections and to explore actionable steps that can be taken at the individual or group level to help us be conscious and caring stewards of the earth.
